It's Been Awhile

Hullo humble admirers and readers of this blog,
That one's good too. Sorry I haven't posted in so long, it's been really busy. Tonight's the six hour long Christmas Foswizzle (A Christmas Carol) rehearsal. It's the last day of Tech week, which is also nicknamed "hell week" by the cast. Tomorrow's the musical. Come see it at the State Theater tomorrow (yay!) at 2:00 and 7:00, and Sunday at 2:00. Plus, Steve's mom is going to be there! (An old joke with Running to Places)
I'm leaving for Chicago on the twenty first. My dad's side of the family celebrates Christmas, so I get double the presents! (I'm Jewish) I can't wait to see my friend Jacob again. I posted about him a while ago, he's kind of my cousin (don't ask) and is obsessed with Harry Potter like me. I like to pop down there every now and then and just knock on his door or something. (Or this one time, when I just showed up at this party he was having. He was really surprised, because he just turned around and I was dancing. Explanation: he leaves his windows unlocked.) I also love the movie "Finding Nemo," but I have a sacred pact to only ever watch it at my Uncle Ron and Aunt Judy's house. (Uncle Ron is Jacob's dad's brother) My Aunt Judy and I have it practically memorized. Word per word. Last time I was there, we also watched Austin Powers while everyone else was asleep at two in the morning. If you haven't picked up on it already, my Aunt Judy is pretty awesome. Another reason I'm really excited to go back to Chicago is to meet Aunt Judy's new bird. I posted a little about her old bird before. Her name was Parita, and she died of some type of stroke not too long ago. It was really sad for everyone, because Parita had so much personality, but really sad for my aunt Judy, because Parita was like her child. The new bird is a parrotlet (like a really tiny parrot) too, and is apparently really nice. Aunt Judy asked everyone for names, and I don't know if she's made up her mind yet. I suggested Fern (they're usually this really pretty green color) and Dori, because she's our favorite character in Finding Nemo. Jacob suggested Rosalita, which I think sounds really pretty and last time I was talking to Aunt Judy, she said she really likes the name Rosalita too, because then she can call her Rosie.
This Wednesday, I'm going to a radio station place (what do you call it?) with Darcy, who I posted about a lot before. She has a really cool book quote tattoo on her wrist and teaches Acting Out New York. Darcy's awesome. Darcy's doing a commercial like thing on the radio, and she invited me to come with. I don't remember which station it is, or the exact time, so I'll try to post that later. She also invited me to come with to a TV thing she's doing in January for Acting Out. I think it's channel thirteen or something. I'll post that later too. (Hey, maybe you could see me!) Darcy does a lot of really cool stuff. She's an actress, and she's been on a ton of show's, like Grey's Anatomy and some other stuff. Here's the link to a video she wrote and filmed at a class she had: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLXzS4qKSFs I do one of the PSAs. (That's public service announcement) Here's another thing Darcy did, you can see me in this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_ycblQy0_c
I really missed blogging. Um, and that's the really weird end of this post. Yours Truly,

Last Day of November

Hi Guys,
I'm so tired. Today is the last day of November, which means it's also the last day of NaNoWriMo. I probably shouldn't be posting this, I'm still 5,909 words from being done. I've really made a big difference with my writing in the last few days. I invite you to look at my stats here: http://www.nanowrimo.org/en/participants/sadielaine/novels/the-sentimental-journey-of-a-yellow-truck/stats
Christmas Foswizzle practice is going really good. I'm wearing the Christmas Carol shirt right now. Come see it on December 15th, 2:00 and 7:00, and December 16 at 2:00. We've put a lot of work into it; it's going to be amazing!
Today is the last day of NaNoWriMo, and it's also my make up session of Act Out New York, this really cool acting class I've been taking. I posted about it earlier. The teacher, (Darcy) is awesome. She has a great tattoo on her wrist, and if I ever get a tattoo, I am going to get something very similar. Hers is the words Now Peter! in fancy lettering on her wrist. It's from Peter Pan, which she says is her favorite novel.
Bye,
Best of luck on whatever you're doing today and tomorrow and for the res of your life from

November...What?

Hello Fun Loving People of the World,
Kudos for all writing a novel this month! I have decided to become Canadian for the rest of the week so I have more time to work on my novel. Don't get me wrong, I'll still eat and stuff, but I never really liked turkey anyway. I feel kind of guilty, because on Saturday I'm having a Harry Potter marathon (told y'all I was obsessed) and will 19 hours, 47 minutes, and 19 seconds watching them all. Then again, I won't be watching commercials or credits or or any of that crap, so probably more around 17 hours.
Yeah right.
Christmas Carol practice is this Sunday again, don't have the full schedule for it, I just know it's at 5:00. Then both days the next weekend, and then everyday the week after. Come see us on December 15th twice and 16th once! (Times posted later.) I got a really cool Christmas Carol shirt from the theater company, but I put it n the wash and now I can't find it. One of my friends who's also in a Christmas Carol wore his every single day last week. Talk about crazy. And un-hygienic.
Starting to feel guilty about spending this long without writing. I should go, I'm way off my word count...Oops. So if you see me, cut me a little slack on how I probably won;t have taken a shower, won't have brushed my hair, and will be stumbling along like I just got out of bed. You probably won't remember me five minutes after you see me. That's how I got the nickname

Hi...Again

Hello People of the World,
Sorry I haven't posted in so long. I've been SO busy. Between Christmas Foswizzle, going to Chicago, Halloween, dance, music lessons, and all that other stuff, I have no time.
I'm doing NaNoWriMo (NAtional NOvel WRIting MOnth) this year, and last night I stayed up until 3:30AM working on my novel (you can start at midnight Nov.) and then this morning  had to get up at 6:30AM to got to an orthodontist appointment. I got more stuffs on, and my mouth is still killing me 6 aspirins later.
The whole write a novel in a month thing has got me really busy, so I probably won't be able to post in a while. If you see a weird looking girl with messy hair and odd shoes and...unusual clothes, whose frantically writing in a journal as she walks, remember: before you say hi, there's a reason she's known as

It's Been A Long Time...

S'up Peeps,
Ugh. Definitely not. Haven't posted in a while. I've been super busy. Sorry. Although, I doubt anyone looked at my blog in the past year.
I'm packing to go to Chicago. My Grandfather just got out of the hospital, so I'm going to visit him. While I'm there, I'll probably go to the Rock and Role Hall of Fame. I'm also going to go to my Uncle Ron's and Aunt Judy's. They don't have any kids, but they had a paralet named Parita[Skeeter] who died less than a week ago from either a stroke or a neurological problem. She was spoiled too, she was never in a bird cage, and got baths every other day, and ate popcorn and fruit and pizza and was more like a person than a bird. Aunt
Judy treated Parita like her kid. They also have 3 nephews, Zach, Josh, and Jacob. Jacob's my best friend, but he lives in Chicago, so we usually see each other twice a year. Since I'm going randomly, I'm just going to show up at his house like last time. Every time I come randomly, I tell his parents, but not him, and then I ring the doorbell. I think, this time, I going to come before school gets out for the day, and hide in his room, and then when Jake gets home, he always comes straight up to play on the computer(his mom thinks he's doing homework) and then I'm gonna scare the living daylights out of him!
Ha!

At Mohawk Girl's House

Hullo Loyal Readers of This Insanely Incredible Blog,
Just mixing things up for a change.
At Raven's house. She's practically my only friend who watches Doctor Who. I just got to her house a little while ago, due to a misunderstanding about rehearsal for Christmas Foswizzle(That's juts what Steve calls it, because Steve is awesome.). They came into the "Place of Practice" twice and never saw me. I can be very skilled at fadibg into the backround when I try, or when I don't try, I'm just like that.
Raven redid her Mohawk(hence the title). No it's a really cool pinkish color. She's urging to get off now, she wants to make a blog. Check it out:

I'm Back

Hullo Loyal Readers of This Blog,
I'm back at my usual place of blogging: the Rosetta Stone library computers. The cough is still terrible, but other than that I'm okay.
My brother's birthday is coming up. I just bought him his present. I'll tell you all what it is after I give it to him. He has no idea i even have a blog, but just to be safe I'll tell later.
Weird dream last night. I don't remember all of it, but I do remember this 5 year old boy that is this friend of mine's little brother. Anyway, he was sitting on my couch, and then he was swimming in maggots. It was really odd. But then he started screaming, "Look, they're baby rats!" Really strange, right?
Why does no one do old stuff anymore? I feel like I'm the only person who plays dragonfable anymore. My friend Julia doesn't know who Tony Stark is! And, the other day, I made an X-Men reference, and NO ONE got it. It made me feel kind of old. Even though the people were all older than me.
Darn. Librarian caught me. Had to switch computers. It was one of the crabby ones, but she honestly thought that I didn't know it was a Rosetta Stone computer. I'll have to be more careful in the future.
I'm finding that I am really enjoying having a blog. Thank you all for reading. It means so much to

Thursday Now...And I'm Still Sick

Hullo Readers of This Blog,
Yep, that's definitely the one. I'm sick again today. The sore throat is mostly gone, it just hurts when I swallow. The coughing is worse. My mom called the doctors office and they said that it wasn't whipping cough or step, so I hope I'll be better tomorrow. My classes at home-school co op for Fridays are:
Physics
Mandarin
Drama
Statistics
Also, this Friday I coincidentally also have Christmas Foswizzle practice(see posts below), which I'm excited and sad about, because it's usually just the weekend, and my friend Raven and I were going to go to this really cool zombie walk thing, where you meet a bunch of people somewhere, and dress up like zombies, and then you walk around the streets and pretend to be a zombie. It's really fun, and we were going to watch some Doctor Who afterwards(another obsession).
Last night the presidential debate was on. It was a load of rubbish, I thought. Anyways, before it I watched the Vincent Van Gogh episode of Doctor Who. I'm pretty sure, I've already seen it, but it was still brilliant.
Harry just tried on the invisibility cloak. If I had one of those, you wouldn't have to ignore me, I'd be That Girl You Can't See, but instead I'm

Guess What, It's Still Wednesday!

Hello Loyal Readers of This Blog,
Huh. I think I like that one the best. The other ones have been fairly normal, and that was out of the ordinary. Hello Loyal Readers of This Blog. Wait! I know how to perfect it.
Hullo Loyal Readers of This Blog,
Yes! That is the finishing touch.
Still sick. Symptoms: throat burning, stomachache, head hurts, swollen glands, runny nose, coughing nonstop. My nose is almost always running, but now it doesn't stop and there's a ton of snot. Yes, I said snot. Snot. SNOT!
I watched 3 more Doctor Whos. Whos? Anyway, I was only going to watch one, but then my mom tried to get me to eat something, so I told her I would when I got up. So I watched another. Actually I watched half of it, but my mom figured out what I was doing, and made me eat a shiitake mushroom. (That is the correct spelling, but blogspot says it's wrong. Weird) Don't get me wrong, I like shiitakees,(I am having a problem with plurals today.) but I wasn't really hungry, even though I haven't eaten anything since Monday. Oh, so then my brother got home and his finger hurt so, so much (in case you couldn't tell, that was sarcasm) that he just couldn't go to the YMCA to play basketball. So I went upstairs and watched it on my mom's ipod touch. But then it was a to be continued episode, so I got carried away again and watched the part two. The ones I watched were from the eleventh Doctor, and it was
  1. Amy's Choice
  2. The Hungry Earth
  3. Cold Blood
The first one was this creepy episode where Amy, the Doctor, and Rory couldn't figure out which universe they kept waking up/falling asleep into a different dimension, and they couldn't figure out which one was a dream and which one was reality. In the second and third one, it was the year 2015 and these people were drilling 21 kilometers into the Earth, and they accidentally woke up an ancient race of lizard people which wants to wipe the human race off the world.
I've been writing a lot in my novel. I'm writing a novel called moonrush. I'll make a blog post about it later. If you ever want to spot me on the street, look for a my mom's jean jacket I always wear, my combat boots I got off a free blanket on the side of the road, and a journal that contains my novel. But if you do manage to spot me, trust me, I'll be

And Now Today is Wednesday...Also A Bad Title

Hey Everyone,
Sick again today. I hope it's not whooping cough, I had it last year and it was terrible! I feel really nasty too. I've barely eaten anything in the past three days, and so far I've watched:
1 Doctor Who
3 How to Rock
2 Big Time Rush
2 Kickin It
8 Sparticle Mystery
1 Night at the Museum: Smithsonian
2 Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
1 Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
1 Battlestar Gallactica
2 Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman
I'll probably watch another Harry Potter later. Either the 1st or the 4th. Or both. Or the 5th. I have an obsession, okay? The books I have read are:
The Unwanteds
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Gone
Hunger
Plague
I get a little carried away when I have too much time on my hands, I guess.
I recently started playing saxaphone. I'm really good at it too, it's kind of easy since I play clarinet. And a little trumpet. And piano. And 8 years violin. And some flute. I like music! (Wow, that was a really bad defense.)
The Sparticle Mystery is on netflix. It's a really good series, but it's a lot like the Gone Series. And the Gone Series was written first.
Gone Series:                                           Sparticle Mystery:
Everyone older than 14 disappears             Everyone older than 14 disappears
Kids start developing powers                    Reese start developing powers all?
Sam leads everyone                                Sadiq leads everyone

Bullies are ruling the world                      Bullies are ruling the world
Gangs are being formed                          Gangs are being formed
Freaks against normals                           Holly against Reese

Don't know what happened to the adults  Adults went to alternate dimension
15th birthday you disappear                   No one knows
Orc (You don't get it until you read it)     Callum (ditto)
I think the season finale is going to be really good anyway!

Today is Tuesday...And That Was a Bad Title

Hello All,
Tuesday. I've had a terrible sore throat for the past 2 days. I've had to stay home, but I can't do workbooks and my brain feels all foggy. I"m watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as I write this. Harry just used the One-Eyed Witch passageway to get to Honeydukes.
Weekend was good. I am part of a theater company, so I spent all of Saturday and Sunday there. It was really tiring. We're doing Christmas Foswizzle in December, Annie in January, Honk in April, The Wedding Singer in June, and Into the Woods in August. The Christmas Foswizzle is the Christmas Carol, Steve(the choreographer and director) just calls it the Christmas Foswizzle. We're only preparing for the Christmas Foswizzle right now, and it's less of a play and more of an opera-like thing. There literally isn't a script and just the score. And it's about 500 pages long and I have to memorize it!
I saw some kids that go to the school I used to go to. I never really liked them, but I said hi to them and they said hi back. It was just like old times. They acted like I was

Applefest

Hello All,
Applefest is here. Let me try that again. APPLEFEST IS HERE! I'm so excited. Sure. Believe that if you want. Don't get me wrong, I like Applefest, but...I dunno. One of my friend's mom gave me mom tickets to a concert tonight, and I'm looking forward to that. Applefest also means today I'll probably eat some type of food from a street vendor. No complaints there.
At the library again. That's where almost all of my blogpost have come from and probably will come from. The time alottment on the kids computer is 65 minutes, but I figured out that there are Rosetta Stone computers in the back. And even though it says there's no internet acess, there's always internet if you know how to find it. And it's quieter back here, so no one bothers me. I'm really good with computers. I really understand them. A lot better than I understand most people anyway. I love designing wearable computers. They're so much fun, especially glasses and wristbands. I'll  try to upload a picture later.
I have to go now. I'll try to be back later. Evil librarian is coming towards me to reshelve books. If she catches me, I'll be permanently dubbed

Acting Class

Hello everyone,
Second day of blog. Life is as good as it should be. My fingers are turned blue from a chemistry experiment. It looks really weird. I was signing today, and everyone was like, what?
I've been taking an acting class for the past few weeks. There's only three other kids in it, they're all boys, and two are younger than me. Darcy, the teacher, is going trick or treating as a sprite, and Max is going as his worst fear(Uncle Sam). In the class we memorize short scripts and record them. Here's the one for this week:
[Pete and Tanni are locked in a cobwebby, rusted out bomb shelter. There is a metal springed cot, some rusty cans of G-rations, and a single light light bulb dangling from a plugged in chord. Pete is nervous, Tanni is curious.]
PETE: Well, here we are. Look at those spider wens. Check out this ancient food. I think rats live down here. Kinda spooky, huh?
TANNI: I think it's pretty neat.
PETE: Well, if you're scared, you just tell me, and I'll give you a hug. A nice neighborly hug.
TANNI:[not scared] Oh. Okay. Imagine how our grandparents must have felt, you know, building these things. They must have been frightened.
PETE: Yeah. I bet they hugged a lot, or at least held hands.
TANNI: Well, they did more than that.
[Pete laughs nervously]
PETE: Oh, right, of course.
[Tanni sits down on the cot and it creaks loudly.]
PETE: [exclamation] FEAR!!!
TANNI: What's wrong?
PETE: Didn't that scare you?
TANNI: What-You shouting "fear"?
PETE: No...the squeaking springs...
[Pete presses up and down the cot and it squeaks in rhythm.]
PETE:[like a ghost story]...listen to that...it's like...the ghost of our grandparents...making out! Picture it...2 future old people...kissing...and licking and slobbering at each other's yet-to-be-old faces. Are you frightened now?
TANNI: I'm afraid I'm...embarrassed...for you-does that help?
[Pete is disappointed]
PETE:[bright idea] What if I eat one of those sixty year old twinkies, would that scare you?
Won't that be awkward? I'm the only girl, so I have to do it three times. That's going to be terrible. Darcy is going to put it on the website. I hope everyone skips it. If people see it, and recognize me, I'll be

Quote

"I've been on a calendar, but I've never been on time"
~Marilyn Monroe

Norma Jeanne Mortenson was born on June 1, 1926, and died at age 36 on August 5, 1962. She spent most of her childhood in foster homes. She then began a career as a model, which led to a contract with 20th Century Fox in 1946. Her name was changed to Marilyn Monroe. She had three husbands over the years, James Dougherty(1942-1946), Joe DiMaggio(1954), and Arthur Miller(1956-1961). She died in 1962 from a drug over dosage.

First Post

Hi everyone,
First blog post. Cool. Welcome to That Girl You See And Pretend You Don't Know. I couldn't think of a title, and I don't like contemplating things for too long, so I went with that. There wasn't a lot of other ideas. Is the backspace key broken yet? I hope not; it's library property. The librarians here aren't like librarians in books and stuff, they aren't that old, but they're really fidgety and make a big deal out of everything. Wow. Did you know that when you type and the word ends on the end of the page if you press space it doesn't show up. I never knew that. I'm a writer, but I do most of my stuff in journals, ever since I was 6 and started a really good book on the computer, and, when I was halfway through, logged in to work on it and the computer (that I had been using for 3 or 4 months) opened up the document and then the page was blank. I tried everything, and trust me, I live on computers, but nothing worked. It was really upsetting, especially as a six year old. Over the years I've calmed down about it a little, but I still never use computers for huge things like novels and stuff. Librarian is shooting me with lasers from her eyes. Relax, lady, I have 24 more minutes on the timer.
So, for the blog, I'll try to post an entry every few days. When, I find quotes that I really like, I'll put them on here with a little biography of the person's life. I'll also put on some cool facts and instructions when I fond one's I like, even though no one else will be at all interested.
After all, I'm That Girl You See And Pretend You Don't Know.
