Camp NaNoWriMo Winner!

I'm Back!

Hello Again,
How are you all? Having good days? Good.
Recently, I mentored a 4H Kritter Kamp. I show cows every year at youth fair, so the woman who's in charge of 4H asked me to come. I mentored two girls named Clara and Natalie. Clara was really quiet, but was quite good at showing the cow. Natalie talked a lot, but knew a little about cows, so she did well. They were a lot better than some of the kids; at lunch they sat down and worked on the dairy workbooks they had and let me eat lunch with the other mentors. Yay!
Summer is coming up pretty soon. My home school co op finished up the year a few weeks ago, so that gives me the next 9 days to finish up all my workbooks. Hooray for 26 pages of Got Grammar a day! After that my family and I are going to Edisto Island.
My friend Julia went to the hospital in Rochester a few days ago. She has Legg Calves Perthes Disease. Legg disease is a disease more commonly found in kids that separates the hip from the rest of the leg. She wasn't supposed to get back until next Friday, but she got back yesterday instead.
MY mom and I went to see Star Trek: Into Darkness a few days ago. It as very good. I'm a big Sherlock fan, so it was really cool to see Benedict Cumberbatch in it. It was amazing!
Yesterday my mom and I went to a home school thing in Rochester. After it was over we went to Uno's and got deep dish. It was delicious! Then, on the way home, the radio station was giving away Darian Lake tickets. I never call in for those types of things, but my mom always does, and because she was driving she made me call. I got put on hold a bunch of times, and then someone finally picked up. I thought I had the wrong number, but we won the tickets. Yippy!
For those of you who have been reading this blog for a while now, you know that I did NaNoWriMo (NAtional NOvel WRIting MOnth) this past November. You have to write a 50000 word novel in 30 days. I completed my novel, The Sentimental Journey of a Yellow Truck with 51313 words. In April, NaNoWriMo ran Camp NaNoWriMo, where you can set your own word goal. I did that too, (my word count goal was 30000) and completed my NaNo Rebel novel with 32303 words. There is another Camp NaNoWriMo in July and I'm doing that too. My word count goal for July is 30000, but if I'm able to stay on track well, I'll raise it. The best part is freaking out because you have 11000 words to write in 36 hours. If you're doing Camp NaNoWriMo, I would love to be in a cabin with you. You can ask for specific novelists. My username is sadielaine.

Have a good Summer!

Camp NaNoWriMo

Hullo loyal readers of this blog,
Sorry it's been so long. I've been SO busy. I'm directing a musical at my homeschool co op, and that's kept my schedule pretty full. Christmas Carol went really good, and I went to my first ever party that wasn't a birthday party! (the cast party) I named a Foswizzle(see below.)
I did NaNoWriMo (NAtional NOvel WRIting MOnth) this past November. Look what I'm doing this year!

It's Been Awhile

Hullo humble admirers and readers of this blog,
That one's good too. Sorry I haven't posted in so long, it's been really busy. Tonight's the six hour long Christmas Foswizzle (A Christmas Carol) rehearsal. It's the last day of Tech week, which is also nicknamed "hell week" by the cast. Tomorrow's the musical. Come see it at the State Theater tomorrow (yay!) at 2:00 and 7:00, and Sunday at 2:00. Plus, Steve's mom is going to be there! (An old joke with Running to Places)
I'm leaving for Chicago on the twenty first. My dad's side of the family celebrates Christmas, so I get double the presents! (I'm Jewish) I can't wait to see my friend Jacob again. I posted about him a while ago, he's kind of my cousin (don't ask) and is obsessed with Harry Potter like me. I like to pop down there every now and then and just knock on his door or something. (Or this one time, when I just showed up at this party he was having. He was really surprised, because he just turned around and I was dancing. Explanation: he leaves his windows unlocked.) I also love the movie "Finding Nemo," but I have a sacred pact to only ever watch it at my Uncle Ron and Aunt Judy's house. (Uncle Ron is Jacob's dad's brother) My Aunt Judy and I have it practically memorized. Word per word. Last time I was there, we also watched Austin Powers while everyone else was asleep at two in the morning. If you haven't picked up on it already, my Aunt Judy is pretty awesome. Another reason I'm really excited to go back to Chicago is to meet Aunt Judy's new bird. I posted a little about her old bird before. Her name was Parita, and she died of some type of stroke not too long ago. It was really sad for everyone, because Parita had so much personality, but really sad for my aunt Judy, because Parita was like her child. The new bird is a parrotlet (like a really tiny parrot) too, and is apparently really nice. Aunt Judy asked everyone for names, and I don't know if she's made up her mind yet. I suggested Fern (they're usually this really pretty green color) and Dori, because she's our favorite character in Finding Nemo. Jacob suggested Rosalita, which I think sounds really pretty and last time I was talking to Aunt Judy, she said she really likes the name Rosalita too, because then she can call her Rosie.
This Wednesday, I'm going to a radio station place (what do you call it?) with Darcy, who I posted about a lot before. She has a really cool book quote tattoo on her wrist and teaches Acting Out New York. Darcy's awesome. Darcy's doing a commercial like thing on the radio, and she invited me to come with. I don't remember which station it is, or the exact time, so I'll try to post that later. She also invited me to come with to a TV thing she's doing in January for Acting Out. I think it's channel thirteen or something. I'll post that later too. (Hey, maybe you could see me!) Darcy does a lot of really cool stuff. She's an actress, and she's been on a ton of show's, like Grey's Anatomy and some other stuff. Here's the link to a video she wrote and filmed at a class she had: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLXzS4qKSFs I do one of the PSAs. (That's public service announcement) Here's another thing Darcy did, you can see me in this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_ycblQy0_c
I really missed blogging. Um, and that's the really weird end of this post. Yours Truly,

Last Day of November

Hi Guys,
I'm so tired. Today is the last day of November, which means it's also the last day of NaNoWriMo. I probably shouldn't be posting this, I'm still 5,909 words from being done. I've really made a big difference with my writing in the last few days. I invite you to look at my stats here: http://www.nanowrimo.org/en/participants/sadielaine/novels/the-sentimental-journey-of-a-yellow-truck/stats
Christmas Foswizzle practice is going really good. I'm wearing the Christmas Carol shirt right now. Come see it on December 15th, 2:00 and 7:00, and December 16 at 2:00. We've put a lot of work into it; it's going to be amazing!
Today is the last day of NaNoWriMo, and it's also my make up session of Act Out New York, this really cool acting class I've been taking. I posted about it earlier. The teacher, (Darcy) is awesome. She has a great tattoo on her wrist, and if I ever get a tattoo, I am going to get something very similar. Hers is the words Now Peter! in fancy lettering on her wrist. It's from Peter Pan, which she says is her favorite novel.
Bye,
Best of luck on whatever you're doing today and tomorrow and for the res of your life from
